Atlantic County - Local 16

Welcome to the New Jersey Retired Police and Firemen's Association, Local 16 of Atlantic County. Our goal is to bring together Retired Law Enforcement Officers, Corrections Officers, State Troopers, Prosecutors Investigators and Career Firefighters living in and around Atlantic County, NJ. 

The NJRPFA was established to promote and develop a friendly spirit among its members. Its main mission is to promote and encourage legislative action at the Federal, State and Municipal levels of government in protecting and improving the PENSION, HEALTH BENEFITS and GENERAL WELFARE of police and firefighter retirees as well as their survivors and/or other beneficiaries. There are over 3,000 members of the association in various county Locals in NJ, as well as Local 22 in the State of Florida. These members are retirees from State, County and Local Firefighters, Police, Sheriff, Prosecutors, and Attorney General's Office to name a few. These members reside in NJ, NY, PA, FL, VA, SC and many other states.

If you live in Atlantic County, please consider joining our Local to keep abreast of major issues like COLA, health care, and the Windfall Elimination Provision, which may impact on your retirement benefits and issues that may be of value to you.

We meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Meetings are currently being held at Sal's Cafe located at 501 New Rd in Somers Point, NJ. 

Yearly dues are $30.00. We now offer two options to join our Local. You may use our electronic option to join our Local, via the ONLINE application found in the drop down menu and you can pay your membership dues via Venmo. Additionally, you may select the Local 16 Paper application in the drop down box, print and mail in your application with a check to the address provided. We look forward to having you join our Local and seeing you at our next meeting!
